Gorgeous steel blue painted table with lovely roses, had so much fun making this peace and discovered some amazing decals. I think this table is so cute and will look lovely with a few of my Laura Ashley Storage boxes. shame i haven't got space for it, so it will need a final sand and then off to ebay it will go.
Time for me to see if my item is appealing to buyers. I am so nervous about selling it, in case they don't like my work. So far there is 15 watchers and one lady praised my work but mentioned that I put the Drive on back to front. Whoops! Anyway we will see how it goes, I will let you know of course. Nervous. Spinning Wheel Hits Ebay
Progress, I have also opened a shop on ebay called Soulway Studios, not an ideal name but it can be changed if necessary. I am selling the most darling knobs for £1.99 each with Free P & P, they are so adorable that I have them everywere and hope to use them on some furniture I make in the future. :) English Rose Door Knobs
Also selling this beautiful 4 piece bathroom ceramic set for £6.99 (which is a bargain) with £3 postaging. So gorgeous I had to share the world with it. Wish me luck :)

After hours and hours of pain staking labour to restore this once poorly spinning wheel into a treasure, my creation is now complete. Disassembling and reassembling so that it would work was the trickiest part, however, with plenty of detail and gold brush effects a heavy amount of priming and paint from a variety of colours it looks remarkable against the contrast of different lights, my spinning wheel is finished, woohoo. Now all that is left to do is bask in it's glory, lol or sell it as the term goes. :D
Hope you enjoy this item as much as I have, making it, my next creation is a table and I am going to take you step by step through it, we will do a basic sand, prime and paint.
When I retrieved this table from the auction house for £1.00 it was so run down that I had to cut the legs of. They would of been beautiful, but they were irepairable and ultimately the structure was not stable in anyway. This little piece was a nasty moldy mahogany wood and people may of thought I was crazy to renovate this piece. I stripped it down to its naked core and built it back up with my trusty evo-stick. Cleaned and Sanded the entire piece to a supersmooth finish and applied 1 coat of grey primer, 2 coats of paint and then sanded it to give it the naturally aged affect to allow the original wood to come through. Then I had gold brushed the edges very slightly, I love this piece so much I cannot bare to sell it, so now it has a place in my home next to Ted's (Hungarian Visler) Seat.
I have nearly finished a Spinning Wheel and have done a chair which I went a bit mental with the Gold Brush effect. xx
If at first you fail then Die Trying.
Firstly,
Let me introduce myself, my name is Jennifer, Born in Plymouth
and raised on a diet of Fish Finger Sandwiches and Brussel Sprouts.
Like all kids, I had liked to eat mud, Cause Mayhem and Most of all
just be a kid. Somehow, I think I was very different. From a very young
age we didn't have enough money to afford to buy CD's and Toys so we
had to be creative with what we had, which was mainly a pen and pencil.
From the earliest rekindlence of my childhood creativity I had learned
to draw, paint, create and dive deep into my imagination.
To ask me what is your favorite hobby or past time activity you would find I could go on for hours about things I enjoy todo and never reach any conclusion. However, over the last couple of months I have been pointing in a direction towards the rural cottagey retreats and into renovating once beautiful items, otherwise known as Shabby Chic. Through this blog, I would like to teach you how to create and make your very own works of arts and also show you my latest projects. Not only will I be showing you step by step guides to creating your furnishings but also I can teach you some fabulous and simple recipes, like my favorite Devils Food Cake (Yum).
The main purpose of my blog is to share interests with all the thing I love and which are massively varied, with the world to participate in activities that I enjoy and to teach and learn what other people do in this very creative world.
So to start with I would like to introduce a few sample projects I have been working on over the past few weeks and I would love to show you the bargains and items I find on the internet that may be invaluable to you.

Purtiful even tho this is the finished version, I shall upload the finished table today <3 read more
